What happens if the property doesn't sell during the listing period, do I get my money back?

When a listing goes into preview real estate agents are encouraged to conduct their due diligence and decide on a bidding strategy. Once a winning bid is chosen by the home seller real estate agents have the opportunity to do a full walk-through prior to the listing agreement being signed. 

Once the listing agreement is signed the real estate agent pays the home seller the cash upfront defined in the accepted bid. If the listing does not sell during the listing period the real estate agent does not receive a refund.
